Transport/ Location

Bathford is located around 4 miles from Bath.

Car
It is easily accessed from the A4 between Chippenham and Bath.

Train.
For just £200 by using the emergency stop on the mainline train (taking account of the stopping distance) you can draw the train to a hault and jump out of the window at the appropriate moment.  Or wait until you are at Bath Spa.

Bus:
The No.13 bus runs direct from Bathford to Bath. £3.20 return.  The recent increase has paid for all drivers to carry a comb on them while on duty (just one comb per bus) and has also helped pay for some sort of driver training (although driving skills vary from Maksim 'Dangerous but fast' through to Bob 'I think I will wait').  All late buses display the 'Late' sign on them as seen here when they have been retarded for some reason.

Coming from Bath to Bathford is a different matter, just when you think you are through Batheaston, the full size bus squeezes its way through some small roads. Drivers get a pay bonus for knocking off wing mirrors and extra points for making oncoming traffic retreat. Once the score has been tallied up, the bus returns to London Road and continues its journey to Bathford. The bus route would be shorter an more efficient if this extra route was done by a shuttle bus, armed with water pistols to keep the yute under control, a shuttle bus would be smaller and less likely to destroy cars on the way.

Taxis
Being a fairly lazy website the only taxi numbers listed here are:
Abbey Taxis: 01225 44 44 44
Bath Taxis: 01225 44 77 77 (these claim to be Bath's Favourite taxis).
