Mastering process for Dj mixes. Especially great where the sources vary (vinyl and older tracks).
So back in the day, going from one record to another, even in fairly recent times, some records are cut with way more or less bass and with various changes in sound. This has kept going to fairly recent times. This means the dj set could go a bit quiet in parts or too bright in others, in a way that you just cant correct on the eq of the channel. I have made a chain of plugins which evens stuff out over a period of time. I adjust these for each mix and it tidies up the output.
Best results in comparison to the original mixes are vinyls where the difference between the records was greatest.
